We have a new class of twenty-five talented and enthusiastic trainees who have begun their basic training program.  Already as they receive top-notch instruction in Virginia's flora, fauna, geology and natural history, much of which is learned in the field, they will begin sharing their love of nature and our state with school groups and the public, and will participate in public service projects to enhance the quality of our environment.
