Alan Jackson Makes Progress
![<span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: small;">One of country music’s most respected artists is putting the finishing touches on a new album. Alan Jackson said this week that his next project, due out this fall, is almost complete. “We’re about finished it up. We’re doing some mixing on it now. But, uh…pretty much done and it’s just uh…I think we got a good bunch of material together and uh…I think it’s gonna be a fun time. Zac Gives Back
![<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Zac Brown</span><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"> went before the county commissioners in Fayette County, Georgia last week to ask for a zoning change for his proposed Camp Southern Ground. The camp will help children with special needs, and is something that is close to the country singer’s heart. According to Atlanta’s WSB-TV, Zac got the zoning approved, giving him the right to move forward with the project. However, because neighbors are concerned the camp will increase traffic and noise, Zac’s team will work to design the camp to reduce any negative impact on the community. Brad Paisley’s “Collision of Worlds,” recorded for the Cars 2 soundtrack, and Zac Brown’s “Where the River Grows,” featured on the Footloose soundtrack, are two of the contenders for a Best Original Song nomination.
