  1. Strings to back Shadows

     For the Shadows’ latest visit to Aberdeen, the tribute band will be joined by a violin section. Strings will enhance tributes to Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Ritchie Valens, Bobby Vee and others Friday night at the Eagles Club. The show is organized by Richard Dunkirk of Fargo, N.D., who says new songs and new artists have also been added. The show runs from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $19 in advance and $22 at the door. They're available at the Eagles Club
