  2. Rascal Flatts Hit with Illness

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Rascal Flatts fans in the Midwest had some upsetting news over the weekend, as the group was forced to cancel two concerts due to illness. The good news - both shows on the Changed Tour will be rescheduled. The group will now head to Tulsa, Oklahoma, on August 10th, and Wichita, Kansas, on August 9th. All original tickets for the two shows will be honored on the news dates, and fans that cannot make the shows will be refunded in full. The Band Perry will be on both shows.</span>

The group will perform &ldquo;Changed,&rdquo; and band member Gary Levox hopes it is enough to impress judges Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera! &ldquo;We&rsquo;re really, really excited about it &ndash; we&rsquo;re really passionate about the song.     <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Rascal Flatts have a couple exciting television stops next week, as they will appear on E!&rsquo;s Chelsea Lately, and perform on NBC&rsquo;s The Voice. Gary, Joe Don and Jay will be promoting their new DVD &ndash; Rascal Flatts: All Access &amp; Uncovered. The documentary was shot over a four month period, and Joe Don admits that fans get to see every side of the group. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s really a little deeper glimpse into the heart, souls and minds of Rascal Flatts. And the three of us individually &ndash; how we grew up, where we grew up, before we came to Nashville and met each other. Also parts of how we met each other and how we became Rascal Flatts, and all the emotions that&rsquo;s built up to where we&rsquo;re at in life.&rdquo; Rascal Flatts: All Access &amp; Uncovered will be available on Monday (11/19), and the group will appear on Chelsea Lately the same night at 11PM Eastern on E!.   8. Hosts Announced for CMT Artists of the Year!

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Rascal Flatts and Nashville actress Hayden Panettiere are joining forces to host the third annual 2012 CMT Artists of the Year. The 90-minute special will celebrate some of country music&rsquo;s biggest artists and their accomplishments this year. It will be filled with performances and special appearances from others in the entertainment industry. Rascal Flatts band member Jay DeMarcus admits that they &ldquo;are honored to be co-hosting the CMT Artists of the Year with Hayden.&rdquo; He joked, &ldquo;Save the cheerleader, host a TV show!&rdquo; Now that Hayden has made Music City her new home, she says she&rsquo;s &ldquo;happy to be embraced by the country community and to be included in such a big event.&rdquo; The 2012 CMT Artists of the Year will premiere on December 8th at 11PM Eastern on CMT.</span>

Luke is nominated for Favorite Male Country Artist andFavorite Country Album for Tailgates &amp; Tanlines.     <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Rascal Flatts will be honored in a very special way, as they will receive their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! The group joins the ranks of Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire and Brooks &amp; Dunn, who each have their own star. Rascal Flatts have accomplished many milestones in their career, but they credit those specific artists for teaching them how to entertain a crowd. &ldquo;We really learned, too, by watching people like Garth Brooks through the years, Reba McEntire and their productions and their shows, and being on tour with Brooks and Dunn, and people like that that have taught us that there&rsquo;s more to live shows than just playing music&mdash;there&rsquo;s a lot more to it to make the experience really whole.&rdquo; The trio will be honored in a ceremony by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce on September 17th, and will later stop byNBC&rsquo;s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to perform their new single &ldquo;Come Wake Me Up.&rdquo;</span>

  11. Rascal Flatts Jay DeMarcus Welcomes Baby #2!

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Rascal Flatts&rsquo;s Jay DeMarcus and his wife, Allison welcomed their second child on Friday afternoon. Dylan Jay DeMarcus was born just hours before the band&rsquo;s Changed tour stop in Detroit, and the proud father made it back just in time to take the stage...in scrubs! Dylan joins sister, one-and-a-half year old Madeline. Jay says he&rsquo;s happy to add a baby boy to the family. &ldquo;You know, I was hoping for a healthy child. Whatever it was, I was gonna be OK with it. But, I would be lying if I didn&rsquo;t say that I&rsquo;m really thrilled that it&rsquo;s a boy. I kind of, in the back of my mind, wanted one of each.&rdquo; Mom and baby are doing fine and will be returning home soon. Jay and Allison have been married since 2004.</span>

  12. Eli Young Band's Mike Eli Is A Dad!

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band and his wife Kacey welcomed their first child in Dallas, Texas. The baby girl, Kline Olivia Diaz, was born 6-pounds, 15-ounces and is a little over 20 inches long. Mike told us earlier this year that even through all of his musical success, he&rsquo;s most proud of the newest addition to his family. &ldquo;I feel like I accomplished something quite special there. You know, the career is one thing, but makin&rsquo; a baby&rsquo;s another.&rdquo; After the birth, Mike told People magazine that seeing Kline for the first time was &ldquo;the coolest thing ever!&rdquo; The Eli Young Band heads back out on the road next week with Rascal Flatts on their Changed tour.</span>
