1. Rush Rules Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction

<span style="font-size: small;">The 28th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles last night, where a packed house witnessed Rock Hall co-founder Jann Wenner kick off the event by listing the members of the eclectic class of 2013. Wenner named off Heart, Randy Newman, Albert King, Donna Summer, Public Enemy and producers Lou Adler and Quincy Jones, but could barely get the name Rush out of his mouth before the entire audience let out a deafening roar, easily giving the Canadian trio the biggest applause of the night. Newman and fellow Hall of Famer Don Henley opened the performance portion of the night with the oh-so appropriate self-deprecating gem “I’m Dead But I Don’t Know It.”

  3. Rush, Heart Inducted Into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

<span style="font-size: small;">After more than a decade of irate rants and enthusiastic lobbying from fans, Rush is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Label executive and music impresario Lou Adler and producer-arranger-composer Quincy Jones are headed as Ahmet Ertegun Award -- aka non-performer -- honorees. The inductees were announced at the Nokia Theater where the induction ceremony will be held next year. It is the first time in 20 years since the festivities have been held in L.A.; it will again be open to the public and aired on HBO on May 18.
