1. Phil Lesh & Friends Play The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester This Weekend

It's been a long time since we've written about anything happening in Westchester County, but the newly reopened Capitol Theatre in Port Chester cannot be ignored. In its heyday it hosted the likes of Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead, Derek and the Dominos, Jimmy Hendrix and the Rolling Stones. Bob Dylan played the grand re-opening in September. This week, Phil Lesh & Friends will hole up for a four-day run that will hopefully reignite the energy stored up in the theatre's 86-year-old, but newly-renovated walls. We will be including the venue's upcoming events in our music listings from now on. (Also, it's located just a block off the Port Chester Metro North stop, so you can drink all you want.)
