  1. Country Stars Score Grammy Nods

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Country was represented well during the Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!&nbsp; The Band Perry picked up a nomination in the all-genre Best New Artist category and performed the song &ldquo;Independence&rdquo; from their self-titled debut album. Jason Aldean and Ludacris reprised their live performance from the 2010 CMT Music Awards by hitting the stage for Jason&rsquo;s hit, &ldquo;Dirt Road Anthem.&rdquo; The most anticipated performance of the night came from pop diva Lady Gaga and country duo Sugarland who performed Gaga&rsquo;s single &ldquo;You and I.&rdquo; The 54<sup>th</sup> Annual Grammy Awards airs February 12<sup>th</sup> at 8PM Eastern on CBS. </span>

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Jason Aldean is feeling the pressure as the 2012 Grammy Awards approach. He will be performing &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t You Wanna Stay&rdquo; with Kelly Clarkson and is also up for three awards -Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. He admits the nerves are finally sinking in for what he considers the most important night for the music industry.&ldquo;I got my fingers, toes everything crossed going for the Grammys this year man. I&rsquo;m excited. For an artist or anybody in the music business, I don&rsquo;t know if that gets any bigger than that for us.
