    British singer-songwriter James Blake started out making beautiful, disembodied, dubstep-inclined sound collages in his bedroom. In 2011 he released his self-titled, full-length debut, and, armed with a much-downloaded hit (an underwater-sounding cover of Feist's &ldquo;Limit to Your Love&rdquo;) and the usual assortment of accolades (a Mercury Prize nomination, a Bon Iver collaboration, an approving shoutout from Kanye West), he went out into the world.     Since 1992, the Bang on a Can All-Stars have worked with avant-garde musicians like Steve Reich, Ornette Coleman, Burmese circle drum master Kyaw Kyaw Naing and DJ Spooky. They recorded Brian Eno's ambient <em>Music for Airports</em>, and they've performed with everyone from Philip Glass to Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth. Saturday night they play the Quick Center, and while we don't know that the program/setlist/whatever-you-want-to-call-it will include, but its guaranteed to push the boundaries of experimentation.
