<span style="font-size: small;">Stung by the Rolling Stones offer “to do two songs” on the band’s current 50 and Counting tour, former bassist Bill Wyman says he will “never again” play live with his former bandmates. Wyman, who joined the band onstage at London’s O2 Arena last November, told the Huffington Post, “The nice thing was my kids saw me on stage with the Stones. They’d asked me the December before, and I had to jam with them for three days. I was under the impression I was going to get really involved, but when it came to it, they only wanted me to do two songs, which was very disappointing.” Wyman added, “It was a one-off. It managed to sell over 150,000 copies, but when Kenny began this record, he did not intend for the personal tracks to reach fans. “I wrote all these songs knowing that the majority of them would never see the light of day on a radio station or in my show. And that goes against all conventional wisdom and all the thinking in our business! You know what I mean? It really does. But it allowed me to be really honest with my fans and tell them stories and open up some doors that I haven’t — and that felt really good. You know?”Life On A Rock marks Kenny’s 7th Top 200 album debut, and his 12th consecutive #1 Billboard country albums chart debut. His current single, “Pirate Flag,” is featured on the project.
