1. Sam Worthington arrested and pepper sprayed in Atlanta

<span style="font-size: small;">"Avatar" star Sam Worthington was allegedly pepper sprayed and arrested outside a restaurant bar in Atlanta over the weekend after getting into a fight with a bouncer, TMZ reports. The entertainment website says trouble began Saturday when the actor was denied entrance to the Vortex Bar & Grill, because he appeared intoxicated and he did not have proper identification to get into the club. A witness told police Worthington pushed the doorman, Jerry Link, who in return pepper sprayed the actor and held him in handcuffs until officers arrived on the scene. Link told TMZ that after being maced, Worthington screamed that he was a DEA agent and that Link was in trouble. While he is not in fact a DEA agent, Worthington does play one in the new Arnold Schwarzenegger movie "Ten," which is currently filming in Atlanta. Method acting gone too far? Worthington was reportedly arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct, but the case was thrown out Monday morning, because Link did not appear in court. People confirmed the incident with a restaurant manager who would not comment.

  5. L.A. Art Show is taking a broad view of art

Invited to provide a table-setter for the L.A. Art Show, a sprawling and mind-bogglingly diverse annual marketplace and smorgasbord for the eyes, Marilyn Lowey delivered an installation that's cheekily site-specific. Titled "Translating Transitions #4," it's possibly the biggest — but most obscure — price tag ever seen.

  21. 'Man on a Ledge': Myriad improbabilities ground this heist film -- 2 stars

A man edges along the 21st-story ledge of a midtown New York City hotel. He's an ex-cop and a convicted thief on the lam, straight out of Sing Sing, and he's threatening suicide. Sam Worthington, of"Avatar" and"Clash of the Titans," plays this character, Nick Cassidy, and it is odd to see Worthington on a precipice without winged beasts or blue friendlies buzzing about his head. The only thing buzzing in "Man on a Ledge" are little gnats of narrative improbability.
