Goldenson Theater in North Hollywood by <em>Fringe</em> star <strong>Joshua Jackson</strong> and <em>Mike & Molly</em> and <em>Bridesmaids</em> star <strong>Melissa McCarthy</strong>, who received her first Emmy nod for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Carroll Pratt dies at 89; Emmy-winning sound engineer
Carroll Pratt, an Emmy-winning sound engineer who also worked with the inventor of the laugh track and spent decades adding laughter and other effects to a variety of shows, has died. He was 89.
