  1. 'SEAL Team Six' fails in its mission

Some fuss was recently made over the role President Obama plays in "SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden," a docu-drama premiering on National Geographic Channel on Sunday. There were accusations that the timing — days before the election — and the late-hour insertion of additional footage of the president, including a voice-over describing the decision-making process, were designed to boost Obama's reelection bid.

  7. TV review: 'SEAL Team Six' macho, but not moving

&quot;SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden" (<em>7 p.m. Nov. 4, Nat Geo; 2 stars</em>) does the impossible: It makes the clandestine and no doubt harrowing U.S. mission that killed Osama bin Laden kind of dull.

  9. DVD review: 'Cat Run' has some sharp extras

This overly violent but otherwise frequently enjoyable film showed up briefly in theaters more than a year ago, to little notice. It may have suffered from comparison to &ldquo;Red,&rdquo; the Bruce Willis/Helen Mirren/Morgan Freeman/John Malkovich action film that opened a few months earlier. The two are similar in type, in a few plot ideas, and through the remarkable resemblance between Janet McTeer's character here and Mirren's in &ldquo;Red.&rdquo; The big difference is the budget.
