A year later they opened the Golden Eagle Trading Post. Gerry and Audrey moved “back home” to Somerset in 2008. Gerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family and many friends. Gerald is survived by his son Terry and his wife Cyndi of Cheyenne, Wyo.; grandchildren Heather and Frank of Jerome, Mich.; step-grandchildren Eric, Logan and Abby of Casper; great-granddaughter RyAnn of Jerome, Mich.; brother Harvey and his wife Dolores of Schellsburg; sister Doloros and her husband Elwood of Friedens; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws. Gerald was predeceased by his wife of 51 years Audrey (by only three days); his parents Frank and Gwendolyn and a sister Esmeralda Thomas Holland (Essie). Special thanks from Gerry’s family go out to Elwood and Doloros Day and Ed and Cindy Swank and families for all they did helping Gerry throughout his illness. Cremation has been arranged through Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. At Gerry’s request, no services are planned at this time.
