    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Scores of living legends posted messages or issued statements regarding the passing of The Band drummer/singer Levon Helm, who died last week at the age of 71. John Fogerty paid a special visit to the Coachella music festival in Indio, CA over the weekend. Fogerty joined retro-rockers the Black Keys onstage for a tribute to the late Helm. ht Fogerty did a version of The Band classic &ldquo;The Weight.&rdquo; Also, Bob Dylan, Helm&rsquo;s former boss, posted on his official website: &ldquo;He was my bosom buddy friend to the end, one of the last true great spirits of my or any other generation. This is just so sad to talk about. I still can remember the first day I met him and the last day I saw him. We go back pretty far and had been through some trials together.
