    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Blake Shelton is on the verge of earning his third consecutive win on NBC&rsquo;s The Voice, as two country music &ldquo;Team Blake&rdquo; members, Danielle Bradbery and The Swon Brothers, advanced to the finals. &ldquo;Team Usher&rdquo; member, Michelle Chamuel, is also in the running, and was also a contestant who covered Taylor Swift, in the past. Blake feels like country music has been dominant throughout this season. &ldquo;Well it sure seems like it has turned into the country music version of The Voice. I read a few articles about people saying that the format has kind of shifted country. My answer to that is, &lsquo;Your damn right!&rsquo; During The Voice, &ldquo;Team Shakira&rdquo; member, Sasha Allen, and &ldquo;Team Adam&rsquo;s,&rdquo; Amber Carrington, were eliminated. The three remaining finalists will perform for America&rsquo;s vote on NBC.</span>

  2. Shelton Supports Country On "The Voice"

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">It is crunch time on NBC&rsquo;s The Voice, as the Top 5 gave do-or-die performances during live rounds. Blake Shelton has two country contestants remaining, after his team member, Holly Tucker, was eliminated last week. The singer still feels like he can claim the title for a third consecutive time, with Danielle Bradbery and The Swon Brothers. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve said from the first time I signed on to do that show, that I wanted to try to win it with a country artist. It just hasn&rsquo;t worked out in the seasons past for whatever reason. This year, I just had the right three artists to really go the distance. I had to see one go home last week &ndash; and you get so attached it devastates you, ya know?&rdquo; When Holly was eliminated last week, Blake stood up for his contestant, after a music critic for the Houston Chronicle tweeted, &ldquo;The Voice sends one singer back to Texas. Don&rsquo;t worry, it&rsquo;s not the one we care about.&rdquo; Blake used more the 140 characters to get his point across, but he noted, &ldquo;I can&rsquo;t stand a person that makes a point to write hurtful things about kids just trying their best.   3. LBT Hosts CMA Music Festival

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">The four members of Little Big Town will collectively host ABC's 'CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock' broadcast when it airs later this summer. The group made the announcement via YouTube Thursday morning. They will take over after Luke Bryan and the Band Perry's Kimberly Perry co-hosted in 2012. Little Big Town has been a mainstay at the CMA Music Festival since 1999. It was called Fan Fair back then, and Kimberly Schlapman remembers playing one month after signing a record deal. They knew two songs and had one guitar. Each year they've come back, and so have their most loyal fans. Seeing old friends is part of what makes the annual celebration so special, they said. "It feels like the biggest gathering of country music fans in the world, and it is," Jimi Westbrook said. "People plan their vacations around that time, and it is all about one thing, the love of country music." According to the Country Music Association, an average of 71,000 people attended the festival each day in 2012. Filming for the broadcast will take place from June 6-9 at Nashville's LP Field. Confirmed performers include Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and many other big name country stars. The broadcast will air on Aug. 12 at 8PM ET on ABC, approximately one month earlier than last year's televised replay of the festival's highlights.</span>

  4. Shelton To Organize Oklahoma Tornado Benefit

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">At the end of 'The Voice,' Blake Shelton revealed that he's working with NBC to organize a benefit concert for the victims of the deadly tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. The singer -- who calls the state home -- couldn't offer many details, but said it would be televised and happen soon. "We'll know more about it in the next 24 hours," Shelton told Billboard. "I'm hoping it will raise a lot of money. Obviously it will be televised and will happen really quickly." The 'Boys 'Round Here' singer grew up in Ada, Okla., 75 miles from Moore. He wouldn't name any other artists who've agreed to play, but his music industry connections should make it easy to assemble an A-list lineup. He's married to Miranda Lambert, managed by Reba McEntire's husband, is great friends with Kelly Clarkson and works with Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Shakira and Christina Aguilera on the show. None of those artists are as of yet thought to be participating, but Shelton did point to fellow 'The Voice' mentor Usher while saying, "I can call in some really big favors." Tuesday's episode of 'The Voice' opened in silence after a one-hour NBC special on the monstrous tornado that killed 24 people Monday afternoon. Shelton and Lambert performed an acoustic tribute to the victims as information on how to donate scrolled across the screen. They sang Lambert's 2012 hit 'Over You.'</span>

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Blake Shelton is starting to feel the pressure on NBC&rsquo;s The Voice, as the coaches begin &ldquo;The Knockout&rdquo; rounds. Each coach will trim their teams down to four artists each, and Blake is shocked at how well the new coaches have adjusted to the competition. &ldquo;I mean Usher and Shakira they&rsquo;re business &ndash; they&rsquo;re in this thing to win &ndash; no question. I think that&rsquo;s been the biggest surprise for me, is how serious they&rsquo;re taking this. You know, where Adam [Levine] and I kind of lolly-gag, goof around, experiment and stuff like that. I mean they&rsquo;re coming in with a plan &ndash; and I&rsquo;ve never had a plan!&rdquo; The four contestants from each team, who make is past &ldquo;The Knockout&rdquo; round, will move on to compete in the live show.   7. 2013 ACM's - Biggest Viewing Audience In 15 Years

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">There were a whole lot of viewers who were crying along with Miranda Lambert when she won Female Vocalist of the Year and grooving to the beat of Lady Antebellum&lsquo;s performance of &lsquo;Downtown&lsquo; during the 2013 ACM Awards. In fact, the 48th annual show had over 15 million viewers (15.38 million, to be exact), posting the largest audience since 1998. Country music&rsquo;s biggest party of the year soared to the top of Sunday night&rsquo;s television ratings, with CBS beating out the 2013 NCAA Basketball Tournament, NBA Basketball and MLB Baseball. It goes to show that the ACMs have something for everyone, as sports fans got their athletic fix through the Band Perry&lsquo;s high-energy dancing, while fans of &lsquo;The Voice&rsquo; were able to see coach Blake Shelton perform his fan-favorite hit &lsquo;Sure Be Cool if You Did.&rsquo; Plus, there was a great shock factor of seeing Luke Bryan win Entertainer of the Year. If you&rsquo;re a statistics guru, you&rsquo;ll also be glad to know the 2013 ACMs had the highest number of households and adults ages 18-49 since 2001 and adults ages 25-54 since 2000. The April 7 broadcast also marked the first time the ACM Awards have beaten the same season&rsquo;s Country Music Awards in these ratings categories. Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, was floored by the news, saying, &ldquo;Wow, we knew we had a great plan to get the word out to music fans to watch, but the fact that they embraced us on this level just makes us want to reach higher next year.&rdquo; The 2013 ACMs were such a smashing success, it&rsquo;s no wonder that everyone wanted to get in on the action and see their favorite country stars perform, accept awards and have a whole lot of fun.</span>

During a recent chat with the Pistol Annies, Miranda gave her opinion on rumors that the media tends to create. "It&rsquo;s funny because we&rsquo;ve reached that point where people say, &lsquo;You know you&rsquo;ve made it when you&rsquo;re in the tabloids!&rsquo; It&rsquo;s kind of annoying but I get to say it on the record &ndash; Blake and I are happily married and we&rsquo;re almost two years in May. The CMA Entertainer of the Year is currently battling it out in the show&rsquo;s live rounds with his two contestants &ndash; Cassadee Hope and Terry McDermott. Thanks to the show&rsquo;s platform, Blake feels like he can help erase the stereotypical image of a country artist. &ldquo;Nashville &ndash; there is a lot of creative people here - and we don&rsquo;t all fit into a mold. There are a lot of talented people here that can do a lot of different things. I just happen to be one of them. I happen to be one of the guys that happens to be the first to do it on TV.
