  5. 7 Questions With … Tammie Brown of RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race

    Channel Guide Magazine
    Tammie Brown didn't get very far in Season 1 of RuPaul's Drag Race. She was also eliminated early in the All Stars edition. Despite these early exits, Tammie Brown remains one of the most memorable contestants in the show's history. Her seemingly non-...

  7. Josh's Deli goes back to the basics

    <img src=&quot;http://interactive.sun-sentinel.com/images/restaurantstars/3stars.gif" alt="" />
    Josh Marcus is single-handedly returning Jewish deli food to its roots. Homemade. Artisanal. Not produced in some commissary and reheated like much of today's deli fare. He cures his own salmon and his own pastrami in a 14-day process. He makes pickles,...

    These two tweets (<a href=&quot;https://twitter.com/JackPride/status/268195842236747776" target="new">here</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/KatiePowell88/status/268195238378631168" target="new">here</a>) pretty much summarize the opinions expressed by many people in the WWE Universe in response to part of a segment involving CM Punk, Paul Heyman, Mick Foley and a returning Jerry "The King" Lawler.

  13. Colts owner has way with words

    The temptation is to define the man, or at least his body of work, by 140 character messages.
    The temptation is to define the man, or at least his body of work, by 140 character messages. Yes, the Colts' owner is an active and wildly popular tweeter with more than 180,000 followers. But the owner of the Colts is Jim Irsay, not @JimIrsay. That...

    Channel Guide Magazine
    It's time for Round 2 of the RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Hunger Games! Yay! Of course, we start off with some T and some shade about Pandora Boxx and Mimi Imfurst. Did anyone expect anything else? Today's mini challenge is InDaButtRu. That's hashtag,...

  18. The Raven

    When I hear about an actor being cast to play somebody famous, I never really analyze it before seeing the movie. I didn&rsquo;t think Jim Carey looked anything like Andy Kaufman, and he was great (and somehow got robbed of an <em>Oscar</em> nomination). Val Kilmer was great as the dark singer/poet Jim Morrison (in the horrible movie).

  20. Jiro Dreams of Sushi

    Jiro Ono is an 85-year-old sushi chef. I think it&rsquo;s safe to say he&rsquo;s the best in the world. His place is the only restaurant of its kind to be awarded a 3 star Michelin review (the best, in what we&rsquo;re told is a prestigious publication). It&rsquo;s a great feat, considering it only seats 10, and is in the basement of a building near a subway station.

  22. The chronicler of Old Town

    Across the street from a school named for one of the earliest explorers of this area, Frenchman Robert de La Salle, sits Twin Anchors, a venerable Old Town restaurant/saloon that has seen its share of history in more than 75 years of serving ribs and pouring booze.
