  1. Kenny Chesney Writes TV Theme Song

    <span style=&quot;line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;">Kenny Chesney</span><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;"> has written the theme song for a new <em>ESPN </em>show called <em>Rise Up</em>. The acoustic song, also titled &ldquo;Rise Up&rdquo; is Kenny&rsquo;s first stab at writing a TV theme song. On <em>Rise Up</em>,<em> </em>deserving high school athletic facilities are given a makeover. The show premieres Tuesday, September 13<sup>th</sup> at 7PM on <em>ESPN</em>.</span>

  2. Nicole Kidman to Film in Nashville

    Keith Urban is happy that his wife Nicole Kidman won&rsquo;t be venturing far from home to film her next movie. &ldquo;<em>She&rsquo;s bringing a film here to Nashville, which is something she&rsquo;s been trying to do for a long time for so many reasons</em>,&rdquo; Keith tells the <em>Tennessean</em> newspaper. Keith cites two reasons for that decision, the first, he says is that it&rsquo;s &ldquo;<em>easier than having to uproot the kids</em>,&rdquo; and the second, he adds, &ldquo;<em>it&rsquo;s a great place for people to come and spend a couple of months shooting a film</em>.&rdquo; The film is called <em>Stoker</em> is about a teenager girl who has to deal with a mysterious uncle who arrives after her father&rsquo;s death. It is set for a 2012 release.

  3. Lincoln Lawyer on DVD Today

    You can grab your own copy of Trace Adkins&rsquo; latest big-screen acting role in <em>The Lincoln Lawyer</em>. The Matthew McConaughey crime thriller debuts on DVD and <em>Blu-Ray</em> today! Trace says fitting into the role of &ldquo;Eddie,&rdquo; the leader of a biker gang didn&rsquo;t exactly come natural for him.&nbsp; <em>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not a trained actor; I&rsquo;m not Phillip Seymour Hoffman or Johnny Depp. I&rsquo;m not gonna do every character that comes along, I can&rsquo;t&hellip;a man&rsquo;s gotta know his limitations. But, this was a role that I thought I could do and it worked out.&rdquo;</em> Trace became friends with McConaughey while spending time with him on set during the shooting of the movie. Since <em>The Lincoln Lawyer</em>, Trace has accepted a role in an upcoming film adaptation of <em>The First Ride of Wyatt Earp</em> and has rumored to be taking the role of a judge in a movie called <em>Palominas</em>, according to <em>IMDB.com</em>.

  4. Blake Shelton Says Wife Steals Good Songs

    Blake Shelton is making the TV rounds today with appearances on <em>Live! With Regis and Kelly</em> and <em>Late Night With Jimmy Fallon</em> to promote his new release, <em>Red River Blue</em>. Blake chose to record songs written by other hit songwriters on his new album. He says when it comes to the songs he&rsquo;s written, his wife Miranda takes all the good ones. <em>&ldquo;Finally, you know, it was like&hellip;it came down to time to record and it was like, &lsquo;Hey babe, are you thinking about cutting uh, this song?&rsquo; &lsquo;Yes&hellip;why?&rsquo; &lsquo;Oh, no reason.&rsquo; So, anything we write&hellip;she gets first pick of and it&rsquo;s usually the only ones that are worth a crap.&rdquo;</em> This weekend, Blake is back on the road with Brad Paisley on his <em>H20 II: Wetter &amp; Wilder</em> tour with shows in the northeast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

  6. Craig Morgan's Daughter Robbed

    Craig Morgan&rsquo;s family recently received quite a scare! <em>AOL</em> reports that Craig was away on location filming his <em>Outdoor Channel</em> show, <em>Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors</em>, when his home was invaded by an armed intruder. His wife kept him up-to-date on what was happening in real time over the phone while his teenage daughter locked herself in a bedroom with a pistol, just as her dad had taught her to do. The former military man has trained all five of his children how to responsibly handle firearms. Luckily, the suspect was apprehended by police before anyone was hurt. Between family matters, his TV show and touring, there&rsquo;s not much time left in Craig&rsquo;s schedule this year.&nbsp; <em>&ldquo;The only thing we haven&rsquo;t done that we usually do is a trip to uh&hellip;Iraq or Afghanistan and we&rsquo;re working on that for December or January. So, that&rsquo;s about the only thing left we have to book this year. Staying busy with the TV show&hellip;things are good!&rdquo;</em> Craig just released &ldquo;Good Ole Boy,&rdquo; the first single from his next album, expected to release early next year.

Previously-announced performers include <strong>Hank Williams Jr.</strong>, <strong>Alabama</strong>, <strong>Ronnie Dunn</strong>, <strong>Sara Evans</strong>, <strong>Alan Jackson</strong>, <strong>Lady Antebellum</strong>, <strong>Tim McGraw</strong> and <strong>Keith Urban</strong>. <em>ESPN </em>reporter <strong>Erin Andrews</strong>, <em>HLN</em> anchor <strong>Robin Meade</strong> and comedian <strong>Ron White</strong> will serve as co-hosts.
