  13. Bank robbery suspect pulled off CAT bus in downtown Harrisburg

    A quick arrest in a robbery in downtown Harrisburg.  It happened just before 6 o'clock. Police say that 48 year old Gary Reid, walked into the Wachovia Bank at North 3rd and Walnut street and handed a teller a note demanding money. No weapon was displayed. Moments after he left the bank a dye packet hidden the cash exploded. Unphased by the spray of red dye, Reid calmly boarded a Capital Area Transit bus. The CAT driver noticed that Reid paid his fare with a dye stained bill and alerted police.
