  5. Driver Identified in Deadly York County Crash

    One person is dead after an early morning police chase and crash in York County. It happened just after 2:30 a.m. on Friday morning along 1500 block North George Street in Manchester Township. Police say they attempted to stop Brian Brouse, 21, of Wormleysburg on suspicion of DUI along North George Street but Brouse refused to pull over. Officers began a brief chase but terminated the pursuit due to weather conditions, according to police reports. Brouse continued fleeing south on North George Street when he lost control of the car and slammed into a utility pole.
