  1. Governor to receive Pathfinder Award from Indiana Sports Corporation

    Governor Mitch Daniels will be honored with the 2011 Pathfinder Award by Indiana Sports Corporation as part of the not-for-profit's annual meeting next month. The Pathfinder Award, in its 24th year, will recognize him for his service to Hoosier youth. Previous award recipients include Larry Bird, Dr. Myles Brand, Tony Dungy, Sen. Richard and Char Lugar, Peyton Manning, and Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, among others.

    Eli Lilly and Company announces the withdrawal of its Xigris product in all markets following results of the prowess-shock study, which showed the study did not meet the primary endpoint of a statistically significant reduction in 28-day all-cause mortality in patients with septic shock.
