  1. Thursday weather: Severe weather a possibility today

A line of severe storms along a cold front is set to move in this afternoon and evening. These storms are capable of producing strong gusty winds, large hail, isolated tornadoes, and potential flooding rain. Ahead of the front temperatures will be near record setting, with highs in the mid 90s. Behind the front temperatures will drop in a big way. Expect highs only in the upper 70s on Friday. We will warm back into the 80s, near average, for the weekend with a mixture of sunshine and clouds.
