    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">A Massachusetts Appeals Court judge reinstated a defamation lawsuit filed by Boston guitarist Tom Scholz against the ex-wife of the band&rsquo;s late singer Brad Delp, who committed suicide in 2007. Scholz filed the lawsuit against Micki Delp, claiming statements she made to the Boston Heraldcould be interpreted as blaming him for Delp&rsquo;s death. Judge Judd Carhart ruled a jury should decide whether a plaintiff has met the burden of demonstrating malice.</span>

  5. Journey's Schon Suing Ex-Mother-In-Law

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">The former mother-in-law of Journey guitarist Neal Schon has been slapped with a lawsuit filed by the musician, who claims she&rsquo;s been posting slanderous comments online. Schon filed the defamation lawsuit against Judy Kozan, the mother of Amber Schon, whom the musician divorced in 2007. Schon says Kozan has &ldquo;attacked and harassed&rdquo; him via online posts in which she claims he&rsquo;s left her daughter &ldquo;in a situation where she literally has no money for food, gas for the car, bills, nothing,&rdquo; while letting their two daughters &ldquo;go homeless.&rdquo; Schon says he paid his ex-wife over $1.3 million, and is now suing his ex-mother-in-law (who has since deleted the incriminating blog posts) for at least $75,000.</span>

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">A Pittsfield, Massachusets man police say attacked his mother after she yelled at him for eating bacon has been sentenced to four months in jail. Christopher Rougeau was sentenced after pleading guilty last week to misdemeanor assault and battery and felony witness intimidation. Prosecutors say the 19-year-old man pushed his mother last December, grabbed her by the throat and knocked her to the ground, then disabled a phone she was trying to use to call for help.
