  7. Man robbed, pistol-whipped victim in Lancaster

    A man was robbed and pistol-whipped by two bandits Tuesday evening. It happened around 7pm in the area of North Cherry and East Lemon Streets. The victim said he was approached by two black males as he walked on the 100 block of East Lemon and as they stepped onto North Cherry, one of the men grabbed him and pointed a gun at him. The robber took a small amount of cash from him and then the second suspect punched the victim. The suspect with the gun hit the victim in the head with the gun several times. The he fired three shots at the victim. The victim was not hit by any of the shots, but did suffer a one-inch laceration to his forehead.
