If clothes can tell a story, the mix of dresses, jewelry, boots, buttons, lace and beading at the West Hollywood boutique <a href=&quot;http://www.clothespingaleparker.com/">Clothespin</a> add up to a novel of epic proportions.

  9. Milan Fashion Week: Prada's spring collection a fun mix

There was an assembly-line quality to the beginning of Miuccia Prada's spring show Thursday, the highlight of Milan Fashion Week. Set on a raised metal platform with industrial-style lighting, the models came out one after another, wearing boxy short-sleeve tops and pencil skirts that were uniform-like in their simplicity. Industrial orange, then green, then blue. Each model carried a neon-colored fur stole, which could have been real or fake.

  13. Fashion Diary: With Fashion's Night Out, a new era

Even as a style-obsessed teen growing up in New York City, I had no idea when it was fashion week, the twice-a-year occasion when designers roll out their collections for a season hence for select store buyers and influential editors. But now, it's impossible to ignore. There are banners on lampposts announcing the event and features on the taxi TV video loop promoting it. On Wednesday, Mayor Bloomberg even renamed the No. 1 subway line &quot; The Fashion Line" for the week.

  21. Paris Fashion Week wrap-up

Designers behaving badly, official statements issued, endless speculation about replacements ... Is fashion the new Hollywood or what? At the second half of Paris Fashion Week, which ended Wednesday, the Twitterverse was still on fire with rumors about who will succeed John Galliano successor at Dior, why Balmain's Christophe Decarnin was AWOL and who is making Kate Middleton's wedding dress. In between, there was a lot of fine fashion. Here's some of it.
