1. Leno Praises Paisley's Controversial Song

<span style="font-size: small;">In the midst of the controversy around his song “Accidental Racist,” Brad Paisley has found a supporter in late night king Jay Leno. Brad stopped by The Tonight Show recently and afterwards, the show’s host told Brad he “gets” the song...He walked over and he put his arms around me and gave me a hug and said—first of all, he appreciates—[laughs] he knows what it’s like to be misunderstood here and there in the news—he said, ‘This is good. You’re really kind of showing people that country music’s not all just hay bales and trucks and things—and that right there makes it all sort of worth it to me. For people to sort of in the mainstream media to take a look and go, ‘Wow! Have they gone there topically?’” Since the release of his album Wheelhouse, mainstream media has continued to cover the controversy surrounding the LL Cool J collaboration, which Brad says was intended to simply start a conversation about a very important issue. Comedians from Stephen Colbert to SNL’s Kenan Thompson and Jason Sudeikis have all performed parodies of the song.

If President Obama was the darling of that so-called liberal media, he is certainly its biggest enemy today.

  19. Mainstream media control the outcome

I do not agree with the premise that this administration's goals include deficit reduction and immigration reform. The first is a euphemism for higher taxes and the latter, amnesty, when passed or a political point in the next election if not passed....

  21. Today's Buzz: Did Obama target Fox News?

The Washington Post reported this week that the Justice Department had secretly obtained phone records and emails for James Rosen, chief Washington correspondent for Fox News, in an investigation of his possible involvement in leaks of classified information. The department named him a “co-conspirator” in the case, though it did not charge him with a crime. The Obama Administration has been a frequent target of criticism from Fox News, and complained about it. Do you think the administration probe of the network’s reporter was retaliation?
