1. Taylor And Zac - Couple?

<span style="font-size: small;">Taylor Swift and Zac Efron visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show for their only interview together regarding their new film Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. Ellen repeatedly joked that the two were a couple, since the tabloids won’t seem to let go of the story. Taylor stressed she understands co-stars fall in love during filming but not“animated movie co-stars.” In fact, the two actually recorded their voiceovers on two different coasts. Zac also mentions he “got his first guitar lesson from Taylor.” The two played a song they made up for Ellen on the spot.

  3. Taylor Talks Lorax

<span style="font-size: small;">Taylor Swift sat down with NBC’s Today show to discuss her upcoming Dr. Seuss’ film The Lorax, where she plays “Audrey” – one of the main characters. Taylor related to her part due to the fact she grew up on a Christmas tree farm, and her character is “obsessed with nature and trees.” The film also features Zac Efron, and when two major stars are featured in a film, dating rumors are sure to swirl – but Taylor is okay with that. She has come to terms with the fact that those things “come along with the life she has chosen.” As far as her view on life, she is in an “adventurous faze right now where she enjoys going out by herself and seeing where the day leads.” Taylor is currently carefully reading over scripts, but her main focus is her next album which is expected this year. The Lorax will hit theaters on Friday, March 2nd.

  11. Chicago Underground Film Fest finds a fitting home

Nearly 20 years after it was founded, the Chicago Underground Film Fest remains (perhaps appropriately) a relatively underground event. Two decades is a milestone, though, especially if you're talking about a fest that brands itself as the home of "defiantly independent" filmmakers. I give a lot of credit to artistic director Bryan Wendorf, who hasn't really had to compromise his initial vision. A quick glance at this year's lineup (starting Wednesday and running through March 10) shows that CUFF once again brings the perplexing, the wonderfully offbeat and strange to our city's movie screens.

  15. Biblioracle: A real fool for poetry

Tomorrow is my least favorite minor holiday, April Fools' Day. The Internet tells me that the origin of April 1 being a day for this sort of so-called merriment may be Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales," a book-length collection of stories written in...

  23. Five kids books for Passover

Perhaps more than any other Jewish festival, Passover is about telling stories. At the Seder, or ceremonial dinner, that takes place Monday on the first night of the holiday, Jews around the world will retell the biblical tale of the Israelites' escape from slavery in Egypt.
