  1. Adkins In Dispute After Holiday Performance

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Trace Adkins has found himself in the middle of some controversy, after his performance on for NBC&rsquo;s Christmas At Rockefeller Center special. According to The Huffington Post, Trace&rsquo;s &ldquo;Stars-and-Bars earpiece was clearly visible&rdquo;as he performed the holiday classic, &ldquo;Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire.&rdquo; The symbol served as the Confederacy&rsquo;s flag during the Civil War, which caused Twitter to go into frenzy. Trace has yet to comment on the matter, but in his autobiography, A Personal Stand, the singer states he is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.</span>
