Abby Weppler

You may recognize her as the weekend weathercaster on WSBT-TV but now you can hear her every weekday morning with Jack and Bruce! Originally from Akron, Ohio Abby graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Journalism and is currently enrolled at Mississippi State University wrapping up her Meteorology degree. She started her broadcasting career in Parkersburg, West Virginia as an anchor/weathercaster where she was recognized several times by the Associated Press.

After spending four years in the Mountain State, Abby and her husband, Jason, moved to South Bend where she landed her new gig as the weekend weathercaster on WSBT-TV. After spending roughly  eight months in the position tracking severe storms and lake-effect snow, Abby was approached with a new challenge: radio!  (If you ask her though, she'll tell you the real challenge is working with Jack and Bruce!)

Abby is excited to be part of the Sunny 101.5 morning crew and may be best recognized for her segment, Radio Paparazzi.  She loves the laid back environment that comes with the morning show giving her a nice break from forecasting Michiana's erratic weather every weekend! If you ask her she has the best of both worlds!
