turner tops charts (June 21, 2012) |
Josh Turner has a lot to celebrate this week as his album Punching Bag debuted at the top spot on the country charts. Over 45,000 copies were sold in the first week. Josh hopes each person who listens can find words of encouragement in the album’s title track. “Everybody has those kinds of days. So, I want this song to motivate people to not get discouraged and just take those punches. Make something good out of it, keeping moving forward and just be tough.” This is the second time Josh has had an album debut at the #1 spot – his first came in 2006 with Your Man. The album includes Josh’s current single “Time Is Love.”
