HANK JR. ANNOUNCES TAKING BACK THE COUNTRY TOUR
Country music icon Hank Williams, Jr. will embark on a multi-city tour next month. TheTaking Back the Country Tour will feature Bocephus along with Jamey Johnson, Chris Young, Josh Thompson, George Thorogood and 38 Special on select dates. Hank Jr. also plans to release a new album soon and says it’s no surprise that what’s happening in America today has inspired him to write new music.“Oh yeah! [Laughs] Oh yeah...me? Yeah. [Laughs] Remember, I was the one with ‘Don’t Give Us a Reason’ and ‘American Can Survive’? Yeah, things are looking up!” Fans will hear songs written within weeks of his controversial remarks made in 2011, but also will enjoy some of his timeless hits like “A Country Boy Can Survive” and “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight.” The tour launches March 3rd in St. Augustine, Florida.
