Alan Jackson To Debut New Music At Opry

Alan Jackson will take the stage on the Grand Ole Opry May 8th, and plans to debut new songs from his forthcoming album Thirty Miles West. Alan tells fans, despite the changing times; his music has stayed the same. “My voice has gotten a little deeper sounding to me, I think, ‘cause I’ve gotten older. I don’t know that I’ve changed that much musically. I still have always recorded songs—I’ve tried to—that are just fun things like ‘Chattahoochee’ and then much later you have like ‘5 O’Clock Somewhere.’ And then I’ve had songs from heartache like ‘Wanted’ in my early career that are not dissimilar to this song that’s out now.” Alan’s current single, “So You Don’t Have To Love Me Anymore,” is the latest off his upcoming album, due in stores June 5th.
