Alan Jackson is on top of the country charts this week as his 13th studio album Thirty Miles West debuted at the #1 spot. Alan wrote 6 of the 13 songs featured on the album, but he admits that his current single “So You Don’t Have To Love Me Anymore” may be his favorite track. “The single is a standout song to me – I just think it’s one of the better songs to come out of Nashville in a long time. People are comparing it to like a new ‘He Stopped Loving Her Today,’ which I wouldn’t want to put myself in that category with George. But it is a great song.” Thirty Miles West marks Alan’s best first-week sales since the release of his platinum-selling album Good Time in 2008.
