Loretta Lynn canceled concerts in Kentucky and North Carolina this weekend after being diagnosed with "the beginning stages pneumonia." After canceling Saturday's appearance at the Performing Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky, a spokesperson for the venue said the 76-year-old Country Music Hall of Fame member had been hospitalized. Loretta plans to reschedule the Ashland concert and Sunday's appearance in Durham, North Carolina. A statement on her official website says, "Loretta is doing well and is disappointed [about the cancellations] but feels confident she will be ready for upcoming November dates." Her next scheduled date is November 3rd in Knoxville, Tennessee.
