Rodney Atkins will perform his hit “Take a Back Road” during the 85th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday. For Rodney, it’s a thrill to be part of such a time-honored tradition. “So excited this year getting to play the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Such an honor, and it’s just one of those institutions that, you know, you get up Thanksgiving, turn the TV on, watch the parade. And to be an actual part of the parade is gonna be fun. I’m gonna put on my deer hunting gear though to stay warm!" Scotty McCreery will also perform during the parade, which gets started at 9AM
