Dog bites man? Not really news. Man bites dog? Possibly news. Drunk woman bites dog numerous times? Now that's news – and that’s what happened in Illinois. A 19 year old woman from Illinois has been charged by police with animal cruelty and domestic battery after biting a dog during an argument with her mother. Analise Garner and her mother, could be heard screaming by neighbours who called police to investigate. According to police reports, Analise Garner hit and scratched her mother’s face and bit her on the hand during the argument. An English Bulldog, believed to be the family’s pet, was found to have three bite marks on its back that were severe enough to been seen through its fur. Sergeant Mike Smith said: ‘’the bulldog finally did bite her back in self-defence’’. Garner was released from hospital after receiving treatment for the dog’s defensive bite and was later charged and released on a $3,000 bond.
