1) Stacey's Incredible Kids
Stacey Lopez runs a small, home-based daycare, but its reach is far. Her Facebook page has 300 active members and she shares daily tips and advice about kids for parents. Lopez also opens her home to everyone in the community for kid-friendly activities several times a year including a charity Easter egg hunt, a painting Picasso playdate afternoon, food drives, reading events and Thanksgiving dinner. Though they are allowed only six children, it's through these community events that Lopez has built a big reputation for her four-year-old business. Her tiny charges co-exist beside her and her husbands' four children. Currently in her care are three infants. If you wonder how on Earth she does it, she credits routine. “It's so important. And scheduled activities, there is time set aside to color, play, listen to music and learn skills that will help them when they reach school,” said Lopez.
