  1. "Shake It" Part of CMA Special

    <span style=&quot;line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 14pt;">Luke Bryan </span><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 14pt;">helped country fans &ldquo;shake it&rdquo; at the <em>CMA Music Festival</em> in Nashville earlier this summer with a special performance of &ldquo;Country Girl (Shake It For Me)&rdquo; that will be featured on the <em>ABC-TV</em> special coming up this weekend. <em>&ldquo;We did a, kind of an off-site taping of it and yeah, we&rsquo;re excited we did that. We got in a little bar and played &lsquo;Country Girl.&rsquo; It was one of the first few times we played it with a band. So, yeah it&hellip;We really love how it turned out and it should be fun.&rdquo;</em> The <em>CMA Music Festival: Country&rsquo;s Night to Rock</em> special airs Sunday night at 8PM Eastern on <em>ABC</em>. Luke wraps up touring with Tim McGraw this weekend and will head out on his own headlining tour this fall. <em>CMT on Tour: Luke Bryan Tailgates &amp; Tanlines </em>with Luke, Josh Thompson and Lee Brice kicks off September 15<sup>th</sup> in Huntington, West Virginia.</span>

  5. Luke Bryan Takes Spill

    <span style=&quot;line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: small;">Luke Bryan received stitches in his forehead after falling off a skateboard he had just purchased in New York City on Wednesday, according to his publicist. Luke bought the skateboard a few hours after appearing on <em>NBC</em>&rsquo;s <em>Today</em> show. He posted a photo of his stitches on Twitter, calling the accident his &ldquo;latest screw up.&rdquo; Luke wraps up his journey on Tim McGraw&rsquo;s <em>Emotional Traffic</em> tour this weekend. He'll headline this year's <em>CMT on Tour</em> which kicks off September 15th in Huntington, West Virginia with guests Lee Brice, Josh Thompson and <em>CMT's Next Superstar</em> winner Matt Mason.</span>

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">They do say that behind every great man is a great woman, and the case is no different for Luke Bryan. The Georgia native says that is wife, Caroline, helped pick two of his <em>Tailgates &amp; Tanlines</em> album&rsquo;s stand-out tracks: &ldquo;Too Damn Young&rdquo; and &ldquo;You Don&rsquo;t Know Jack.&rdquo; <em>&ldquo;The first time I heard them, Caroline was sitting right there and she was like, &lsquo;Oh, wow.&rsquo; I mean, we both fell in love with them, and then, I actually recorded a song that I wrote, that she just did not like&hellip;ya know, lyrically, what it was saying. And then it didn&rsquo;t make the album, just because she was right on the money. So, any time you got people that know you helping you through the process it helps the album become better.&rdquo; </em>And a good thing he listened, Luke is currently enjoying the album&rsquo;s second week atop of the <em>Billboard Country Albums</em> chart.
