    <span style=&quot;line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;">Tim McGraw is at a point in his career that he could tour in state-of-the-art arenas, fully equipped with air conditioning and other luxuries. But, Tim explains to the <em>News OK</em> paper why he prefers the open-air amphitheaters he&rsquo;s playing on this summer&rsquo;s <em>Emotional Traffic</em> tour. <em>&ldquo;The hotter, the better for me and the audience usually wears less, which is good</em>,<em>&rdquo;</em> he says with a laugh. Tim&rsquo;s next stop is in Oklahoma City tonight.</span>

  2. 'Hell On Heels' Debuts

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">&nbsp;Miranda Lambert&rsquo;s Pistol Annies are celebrating the release of their debut album <em>Hell on Heels</em> today.&nbsp;Friends Miranda, Angeleena Presley and Ashley Monroe have long been fans of each other&rsquo;s music, which is exactly how Miranda knew they were the perfect bandmates. &ldquo;<em>Sittin&rsquo; on the couch, I&rsquo;m at my farm in Oklahoma, Ashley and I were writin&rsquo; songs, and we wrote a couple songs that are now on the record that sort of sparked this idea of bein&rsquo; in a girl band. Called Ang &mdash; and she had introduced me to Angaleena&rsquo;s music &mdash; and just loved it&hellip;fell in love with it. And so we asked Ang, &lsquo;You want to be in a girl band?&rsquo; I mean, literally, it just went from the couch to this.&rdquo;</em>&nbsp; <em>Hell on Heels </em>features songs written by the girls themselves, with the exception of &ldquo;Family Feud&rdquo; which was co-written by Miranda&rsquo;s hubby Blake Shelton.</span>

    Honeymoon details from Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert&rsquo;s May wedding have emerged! <em>Us </em>magazine reports that the couple&rsquo;s top-secret honeymoon destination was Cancun, Mexico. The country stars stayed at Reba McEntire&rsquo;s vacation home in Cancun. Before jetting off to Mexico, Blake and Miranda spent a few days on their Tishomongo, Oklahoma farm on a &ldquo;mini-honeymoon&rdquo;. Now, Blake is back at work on the set of <em>NBC</em>&rsquo;s <em>The Voice</em> and Miranda is gearing up to get back in the studio and record her next album.

  4. Blake's Album Hits Shelves

The album boasts his new single, &ldquo;God Gave Me You&rdquo; and the biggest single of Blake&rsquo;s career, &ldquo;Honey Bee.&rdquo; Blake says the album&rsquo;s title comes from a track on the CD called &ldquo;Red River Blue,&rdquo; which he and wife Miranda Lambert have a special connection to.</span><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;"><em>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s actually a song that Miranda and I are singing together on the record and it&rsquo;s about a girl being from Texas and she&rsquo;s still down there, and they&rsquo;re apart now and the guy&rsquo;s up in Oklahoma and it&rsquo;s talkin&rsquo; about how, you know, the Red River is the&hellip;is the great divide between the two.&rdquo; </em>Martina McBride</span><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;"> also makes a special appearance on the record for a duet titled &ldquo;I&rsquo;m Sorry.&rdquo;&nbsp; Blake is currently on the road with Brad Paisley on his <em>H20 II:&nbsp;Wetter and Wilder Tour</em> through the summer.</span>

  5. Carrie Underwood Helps Hometown Animals

    A revived animal shelter is open for business in Carrie Underwood&rsquo;s hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma. The new building is thanks in part to Carrie&rsquo;s <em>Checotah Animal Town and School Foundation</em>, which helped fund the project and in the past has supported spaying and neutering at the shelter. Carrie&rsquo;s mom, Carol volunteers a few days a week at the shelter which provides adoptions of animals free of charge.

  6. Reba Had a Blast at the Shelton Wedding

    A close friend of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire was one of the couple&rsquo;s esteemed guests at their wedding earlier this month. Reba joined several artists on stage like Kelly Clarkson at the reception, including the star wedding singer for the night, Neal McCoy. Reba said the party was so much fun she and her husband didn&rsquo;t want to miss a moment.&nbsp;<em>&ldquo;Narvel had to go to the bathroom, he said, &lsquo;Don&rsquo;t get back up on stage &lsquo;til I get back.&rsquo; I said, &lsquo;Ok,&rsquo; and Neal started singing another song I knew the harmony parts for so I got up and sang with him. I sang with Kelly and with Miranda and uh, Neal McCoy&rsquo;s piano player and Neal. So, it was a blast! And Miranda was beautiful and Blake was so handsome.&rdquo;</em> Reba was officially inducted into the <em>Country Music Hall of Fame</em> this past weekend. She joins Blake in their home state of Oklahoma this week to host tornado relief concerts in Durant on Wednesday and Thursday.
