    Eric Church&rsquo;s third studio album, <em>Chief </em>hits stores today.&nbsp;Eric admits that the album, which includes the single, &ldquo;Homeboy&rdquo; takes on a new sound from his previous albums. He secluded himself for a month to work on the project, which he says pays tribute to his fans.&nbsp;<em> </em><em>&ldquo;We got here on the backs of our fans.&nbsp;That&rsquo;s where we built our career,&nbsp;live shows.&nbsp;I decided to make a record that felt that way.&nbsp;It feels like a live show.&nbsp;It sounds like a live show.&nbsp;And that pays homage to the fans, and at the same time lets the creative process open up on this record like we hadn&rsquo;t done on the previous two.&rdquo;</em> Tonight, Eric will play New York&rsquo;s famous <em>Bowery Ballroom</em> to celebrate the album&rsquo;s release.
