  1. Carrie And Mike Get Downtime During NHL Lockout

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Carrie Underwood is in the midst of her Blown Away Tour, as her husband Mike Fisher keeps busy despite the NHL lockout. Carrie admits that Mike normally doesn&rsquo;t join her on the road, as he is keeping his Nashville Predators on his mind. (Audio) &ldquo;Well, he has to stay home, he can&rsquo;t just come out on tour with us. He has to be able to work out and train and skate, and all that stuff. And keep himself ready. He&rsquo;s a very dedicated person, and he wants to be ready for whenever they do start playing again.&rdquo; Mike recently re-signed his contract to remain with the Preds for two more years for a reported $8.4 million deal. By the way, Carrie has the #1 song for the second week in a row, as &ldquo;Blown Away&rdquo; tops the charts. Carrie is the only female singer to be on top of the country charts for three weeks in 2012 &ndash; &ldquo;Good Girl&rdquo; also went #1.</span>

  2. Happy Anniversary Carrie Underwood

    Congratulations to <span class=&quot;runtimeTopic">Carrie Underwood</span> and Mike Fisher who are celebrating their second wedding anniversary today (7/10). No word on how they will enjoy their special day, but it doesn&rsquo;t take much to make Carrie happy!&nbsp; &ldquo;For a lot of guys, you know, it takes a little more effort. All that romance stuff doesn't just come naturally. I'm generally fine. I love just hanging out on a Friday night watching TV.&rdquo; Carrie and Mike recently spent some time Down Under where they took in some sightseeing during Carrie's tour stops in Australia. Carrie will kick off her Blown Away tour in the states, on September 14th in Manchester, New Hampshire.

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Carrie Underwood and her husband, NHL star Mike Fisher, appeared on Sunday night&rsquo;s episode of Oprah&rsquo;s Next Chapter on the OWN network. Oprah sat down with the country star at her Nashville home for an in-depth interview that included talk of babies! Carrie seemed unsure about whether or not they would be ready for kids soon, but Mike said, &ldquo;Yeah, of course!&rdquo; When the time comes, Carrie says she &ldquo;doesn&rsquo;t want too many&rdquo;and thinks two are three would be enough for her. She also told Oprah that Mike would be the &ldquo;best dad ever,&rdquo;which makes the &ldquo;parent situation seem much, much better,&rdquo; according to Carrie.     Carrie Underwood and her hockey husband Mike Fisher recently closed the deal on more than 400 acres of land in Middle Tennessee. According to the <em>Tennessean</em>, the newlyweds bought the Williamson County plot for a total of 3.25-million dollars. Carrie and Mike plan to build a home on the land.
