Highlights
After playing four seasons at St. Joseph's University near his hometown of Chester, Pa., Jameer Nelson was drafted by the Denver Nuggets and immediately traded to the Orlando Magic in 2004. As a senior in college, he was the National Player of the Year. He quickly became one of the leaders of the Magic as the starting point guard, teaming with center Dwight Howard to set a new course for the franchise.
