Highlights
Hedo Turkoglu was the first Turkish-born player to reach the NBA, where he has played for three teams in his eight-year career. Now a 6-10, 220-pound forward with the Orlando Magic, he has become a key player in their drive to build a championship team. Before the NBA, Turkoglu played four seasons in the Turkish Professional League. While in the NBA, he spent three consecutive summers (2003-06) playing for his Turkish National team. He first came to the NBA with the Sacramento Kings, who used the 16th pick of the 2000 Draft to select him.
