Lauren's Chili

3lbs ground beef 3-8oz cans tomato sauce 1 large can whole tomatoes(pressed through a sieve) 1 large onion, chopped 2 large cans small red beans(or chili beans) 1 large bottle of Del Monte Catsup(MUST be Del Monte for proper flavoring) 2 tsp chili powder Garlic Salt & Regular Salt to taste 1 Tbsp wet mustard 1 bay leaf

Brown ground beef and stir so there are no chunks. Do not allow all beef to get totally done. Add garlic salt and salt to taste. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Turn fire down to simmer. Cover and simmer 6 hours, stirring every half hour while simmering. Chili is better if cooked the day before serving, then reheated and served the next day.
