    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Kellie Pickler is a true girlfriend and she proved it by shaving her beautiful platinum locks in support of her friend Summer Holt Miller who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. An empassioned Kellie told viewers on ABC's Good Morning America Wednesday (Sept. 5), "Cancer does not discriminate." Summer, who also shaved her head, added, "If this compels even one person to change their mentality toward waiting until the age of 40 for their mammogram, then it will be worth it." Summer, who has started chemotherapy, is 36. Kellie is known for changing up her do from time to time, going from a supershort pixie to long bob. She was also a spokesperson for the Sexy Hair line of hair styling products in 2009.</span>

  13. Spinetti, Actor From Three Beatles Films Dies

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Welsh-born Tony Award-winning comic actor Victor Spinetti, perhaps best known for appearing in three Beatles films, died of cancer at a hospice in Monmouth, England, his agent confirmed. He was 82. Spinetti won a 1965 Tony Award for best supporting or featured actor in Oh, What a Lovely War, but was widely known for his roles as a frustrated television director in 1964&rsquo;s A Hard Day&rsquo;s Night, a mad scientist in 1965&rsquo;sHelp!, and an army sergeant in the 1967 television movie Magical Mystery Tour. Spinetti also co-wrote The John Lennon Play: In His Own Write, which opened in June 1968 in London.</span>

  21. New Lynyrd Skynyrd Album In August

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd yesterday locked down an August 21 release date for their next studio album Last of a Dying Breed, the follow up to 2009&rsquo;s Gods &amp; Guns. Of the new collection of songs, guitarist Gary Rossington said, &ldquo;We kind of went back old school this time.
