  5. 19 HACC Employees Out of a Job this Fall while Students Face Tuition Increases

    19 HACC employees will not return to the school’s five campuses this fall.  In addition, 59 vacant positions will not be filled and students will face a tuition increase.  The decision was made after the school implemented other measures and was unable to balance its budget.  In January HACC faced an 11.4 million dollar deficit.  That deficit was eventually reduced to close to $360,000.
