Opportunities lost: The Orioles remain the winningest team in the American League, but they must be spoiling us. They have lost three of their past four and you can look at every one of those losses and see a point where they were in control of the game or had a very good chance to regain control of it. Both Wei-Yin Chen (pictured) and Tommy Hunter gave back three-run leads and the Orioles had runners at second and third with nobody out and could only score one of them in Wednesday's 6-5 rubber game loss to the Red Sox. Does that mean the worm is starting to turn, or is it just more proof that they are in every game and you can't win them all? Guess we'll find out when the Kansas City Royals arrive at Oriole Park on Friday for a three-game series.
