Society Scene Broward Week of June 27, 2012

Second grade students from Bethune Elementary experiment with shadows to learn about light, color and perspective on the Amaturo Theater stage. Students learned about the environment with eco hero "Steve Trash" and perfected their math and science skills through stagecraft during the annual "Math and Science Day" at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The Broward Center educational programs, which use the arts to strengthen classroom lessons, were made possible by a sponsorship from Florida Power & Light Co.
