( Sun Sentinel, File ) All 17 graduates of a radiological sciences program at the University of Central Florida got a job in 2009, with an average salary of almost $46,000. But that same year, the the university discontinued the program, which focuses on such medical proedures as X-rays and ultrasounds. No other state university offers it. Valencia College in Orlando now offers a four-year degree in radiology and imaging sciences. Many other state colleges, including Broward College and Palm Beach State College, and private colleges offer two-year associate¿s degrees in the radiology field. |
