Collin County—
Opening arguments started Tuesday in the retrial of a nanny accused of killing a 14-moth-old boy. A Collin County jury convicted Ada Betty Cuadros-Fernandez of the crime in 2006. A judge threw out the conviction because of an expert witness who was excluded.
Lawyers chose a jury in the case Monday.
