John McCuddy

John McCuddy, son of of the first owner McCuddy's Tavern near the old Comiskey Park, John James McCuddy, sits on the back of the train of the White Sox. The McCuddy family were good friends with Charles Comiskey who owned the team and its ballpark. The tavern stood as a well-known companion to Comiskey Park for eight decades at 245 W. 35th St.
